Economy
Living in California can be extremely pleasant. It has amazing beaches, gorgeous mountains and slow flowing rivers. However, the beauty of California can be tainted with distain if you are one of the thousands of folks who are currently searching the job market for a job or better yet a career where you can succeed enough to pay your bills and still have enough left over to still enjoy living in such a beautiful environment. There are people who have been searching for work for more than a year and when they do finally find employment it pays minimum wage or little more. This trend is getting better "they" say however people aren't feeling anything being on the rise. There are more jobs but most people are having to continue searching for work even after gaining employment due to the fact the employers are hiring dominantly part time employees. This forces some people to hold two or more jobs just to make ends meet. This is a subject of greatly diversified opinions. I have heard arguments saying that people who can not find work should be left to their own devises while others say that the government needs to help its people more than it currently is. I have encountered families who have more and more children just so that they get enough welfare to cover the bills which does nothing to help the over population problems which are continually affecting the nation. What the government should be doing is instituting programs to that create jobs in the states which need them most.
